heat and soul set out in 2020 to cultivate new and exciting ways to eat Caribbean food!

We embarked on our foodie journey when we met back in 2011, fast forward 5 years and the arrival of our son Leo gave us a burning desire to work on something together that we felt passionate aboutso what else but food!

Armed with a vision of providing authentic Caribbean dishes with a modern twist and a huge amount of passion, we decided to pursue our dream. We wanted our food to go beyond the boundaries of taste. Est March 2020 Heat & Soul was born! Despite Lockdown hitting the weekend we planned to launch we took the brave and bold decision to continue with our dream. Heat & Soul continued to grow from strength to strength through recommendation at a time when people really needed something to look forward to. We injected some life into nights in, providing something special 
and a little different to our local community
. This was the beginning of Heat & Soul’s success story.

All the positive feedback we received really gave us the confidence to create food that is inspiring & exciting. Four months in we created a selection of platters available for takeaway. The best seller was The Bonanza which created quite a stir and fuelled our passion to continue with our quest for innovative spins on traditional Caribbean cuisine. Michael’s most talked about Mac Cheese balls with scotch bonnet chilli jam¸ spiced beef wellington tacos & Biscoff fried chicken were all popular choices from our experimental menu!

We create flavoursome authentic Caribbean dishes, cooked the traditional way with a contemporary modern twist.

Together we cultivate new and exciting ways to eat Caribbean food whilst always keeping the food humble, true to its roots and with no compromise on taste.

With the arrival of our food truck in 2021 we went on to showcase our fresh, vibrant, flavoursome street food to an array of different events & audiences.

2022 – Our new premises for takeaway launched and is now available on Deliveroo  as well as collection. This provides us with the opportunityto reach and serve more people with delicious, homemade Caribbean food and fulfil the growing demand to eat with Heat & Soul

We are super excited for the future of Heat & Soul… come on the journey with us!!!
